Our Daily trips start at 9 am

Our trips are offered daily Memorial Day Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend.
Weekends we are open in May, September and October and weekdays with a reservation or just phone ahead to insure we are there to service the trip you wish to take. All customers are asked to be off the river by 8 pm for safety reasons. We have a variety of trips to choose from, whether it's the first time canoeing or the 100th time. Our most popular trips are 2 hour floats either from our canoe livery to M-115 or taken up river to Harvey Bridge to our canoe livery.

Our Family Fun Trip
is excellent for families with small children and beginners. Whether you wish to canoe, kayak, raft or tube. Enjoy the calm water with many shallow sections as it curves its way through a wildlife sanctuary. Try stopping at one of the many sandbars for a picnic or take a leisurely swim. Our family trip is set on your time schedule, take as little as 2 hours or most of the day. The most popular trip is our 2 hour (canoe, kayak) trip or 3 hour (raft, tube) trip from our livery to the M-115 Bridge where there is a Lions Club park with picnic areas. This section is our only tube trip.
We also offer an extended version up to 4 hours, starting farther up river at the Harvey Bridge (not recommended for families with small children or beginners) and with a quick check in at our office, your half way point for your pick up time. Then continuing down to the M-115 Park. This 4 hour trip must be started by 2 PM.

Nature Trip
A relaxing scenic five hour canoe trip, for those who appreciate light paddling with plenty of in-canoe time, enjoy the views of the ever changing landscape. This trip is not recommended for families with small children or fist time canoeists. (Fire Lane to Livery 5 hours) Must start by 2 PM.

High Rollaway Trips
An easy overnight canoe trip, great for first overnighters, to explore the beautiful Manistee River. During the logging days of the 1800’s timbers harvested from this area were rolled down the steep banks for their trip to the sawmills. Enjoy the pleasant picnicking and swimming areas with plenty of fishing. This trip has many primitive camping areas above the Harvey Bridge (Iron Bridge), bellow the bridge is limited to in canoe time for the last 2 hours of your trip. Please call or email if you have any questions concerning this overnight trip. (Baxter Bridge to Livery 9 hours)

ANGLERS ADVENTURE TRIP
This two or three day trip is ideal for fishing in little known feeder streams off the Manistee. Rainbows, browns and brook trout abound – a great get a way for family and friends. Two campground sites along this part of the river (Baxter Bridge and Indian Crossing), along with many primitive camping areas above the Harvey Bridge (Iron Bridge), bellow the bridge is limited to in canoe time for the last 2 hours of your trip. Please call or email if you have any questions concerning this overnight trip.(US 131 to Livery 12 hours).
